PowerRoll Demonstrations in California
By Stephen Kent Goodman

Hi Everyone, I had the pleasure of meeting Dave Allan and showing him
my workshop on Monday. He brought Larry Broadmoore's PowerRoll unit
with him. I was quite impressed with the rugged construction and the
ease in which it can be mounted to an existing roll frame/tracker bar,
without any damage to the original instrument.

Everything was contained smartly in its small box; even the shutoff
will work the pumps from the PowerRoll unit. It can be easily inter-
changed with paper roll operation in literally minutes, with no
evidence of it ever being there.

If anyone has been dragging their feet about MIDI, here is a reason
to start running with it. There are a variety of sizes available.
I saw the 9 holes-to-the-inch model, good for 88-note pianos,
reproducing pianos, O and M roll instruments, et al.

If you live in California, give Dave a call for a chance to see the
PowerRoll for yourself. It is well worth the time. He is currently in
the Fresno area and will be visiting the S.F. Bay area, Sacramento,
and the Ukiah area. He will then be heading back to Orange county.
His phone number is (714)393-9212.
