I have been putting in new pouches in a set of unit valves. One
problem that can occur, no matter how careful one is apt to be, is
a small drop of hot glue oozing into the drilled out channel between
the lamination, and the glue settling and plugging this channel.
To remedy this, the ball bleed is removed, and one takes a very small
drill, and can drill down through the top of the unit valve, and down
through the channel for the ball bleed and clear the dried glue.
The hole in the top of the unit valve can be plugged with a small piece
of round toothpick glued into the hole. Put back the ball bleed, and
you are all set.
