Hi, The D. H. Baldwin is an imported piano with the Baldwin name.
They are built by Samick. There is nothing "Baldwin" about it.
Our church bought a new D. H. Baldwin grand piano about three years
ago. They are pretty, but that's about it. The piano arrived horribly
out of regulation, and even after fixing that the piano just doesn't
have any power. To be honest, it is so bad that, even though I am the
church pianist, I dread playing it.
The ironic thing, though: there is an old 1915 Armstrong upright piano
in the back which they don't even use, and it sounds far better than
this $14000.00 grand piano!
Hope this helps
