Hello All, Here is the text that I sent to Tim Baxter about his
"Dropped Piano Scenario" syndrome. I cannot speak for the builder's
honesty but I have found this to be true in over 30 years of dealing.
Merry Christmas, Julian Burke

Tim, I cannot speak on the honesty of the piano builder but I have
found from personal experience that you _should_ get a refund as soon
as possible. Having him find you another piano is another matter that
should be handled separately!
Player pianos are rather common and you should be looking for another
one, but not necessarily from your present circumstance. He may or may
not find you what you are looking for, in which case the odds are
_against_ you. Be glad that it is HIS problem and not your own to
wallow in during the Christmas holidays!
Anyone who is in the piano business should know proper procedures about
moving pianos or contracting this labor properly or at the worst,
hiring unskilled labor for little or nothing. Who knows, but, from
your own account this may truly be a blessing in disguise!
Best Wishes, Julian Burke
