Pet Animals and Chemicals
By Larry Mayo

By the way, keep your dog away from your supply of hide glue. I was
sorting through my supplies this weekend, and replacing paper bags
with Zip-Lock plastic bags. I left a two-pound bag of hide glue on
the floor, and came back later to find it gone.

I traced a trail of granules to the dog's bed, where she was sitting
in a pile of the stuff, merrily lapping it up. I cleaned up the mess.
I noticed that her water intake increased markedly for the next two
days.
