Hi there, I have a question about the Richter organ of Elise and Marty
Roenigk: is it an organ with keys or with "Tonstufen" ?
I ask this because Matthew Caulfield mentioned that there are some
books on it arranged by August Schollaert, and I know for sure that
Schollaert never arranged books for German organs with Tonstufen, but
only for 'keyed' organs. I'd sure like to hear a reaction on this, so
if anyone could help me ...
Best greetings,

[ 'Tonstufen' is literally the 'tone-channel'
[ I guess 'Tonstufen' (literally 'tone channels') in this context
[ is 'key-less', i.e., instead of brass fingers or keys which feel
[ the holes, the holes are sensed by air pressure (or vacuum) with
[ a tracker-bar, or 'Gleitblock'. -- Robbie
