Mechanical Music in the Movies
By Karl Ellison

The movie "Auntie Mame" starring Rosalyn Russell - didn't "show" a
player piano, but in the bootleg cocktail party scene there was a man
playing "Kitten On The Keys" while laying on his back on the piano
bench, playing the piano upside-down. The tune, audible as the scene
opened, was a dead-ringer of QRS roll # 10-353 of the same name. I'd
bet money on this because it sounds exactly the same and was being
played way too fast for ANYONE to play upside-down. Not even Mozart
could do that!

"Don't stir too hard, Patrick darling - you'll bruise the gin" - Aunt
Mame
