Wurlitzer Theatre Organ Production
By Bob Loesch

> Where were most theater organs by Wurlitzer made?

They were all built in North Tonawanda, except for the first few, which
were started and probably finished in the Hope-Jones factory in Elmira.

Wurlitzer also built all of their components, except for early on, when
an occasional rank (usually strings, and the odd reed) would be pur-
chased from an outside supplier, although many people will deny this.

Regards,

Bob Loesch
