Source of Motor Cloth
By Philip Jamison

I've been pleased with the #665 silk-covered rubber motor cloth sold
by Schaff of Chicago. It is very supple and takes a fold well.

Other neoprene cloths seem too stiff and springy. I've used them on
air motors and had to re-do them with pneumatic cloth. Natural latex
is white, but it always seems to be tinted black or gray in player
cloths, for some reason.

The Schaff cloths, by the way, are made in Australia. I don't know
if any are made in the U.S. anymore.
