Disklavier & Boesendorfer 290SE in NY Times Article
By Del Lohuis

The New York Times for Thursday, November 12, in it's "Circuit"
section, page D-1, has an article by Peter H. Lewis, entitled "Play
it Again, RAM" which discusses Yamaha's Disklavier "Grantouch" digital
grand piano, model DGT7, which sells for $18,695.

In the last two paragraphs of the article the author discusses the
Stahnke Telarc CD 80489 and the Boesendorfer 290SE and the Yamaha
Disklavier DS6PRO. He states that only a few dozen of these models
are in use around the world, "perhaps because of their $140,000-plus
price tag".

The author also describes Wayne Stahnke as the "inventor of the modern
acoustic reproducing piano."
