Bicycle Cable for Mandolin Rail Control
By Spencer Chase

Rebuttal to argument against bicycle cable -- I suggested using
only the bicycle cable housing, not the braided brake cable wire.
The original solid wire can be reused. This would be much cheaper
as the housing is about $.60 a foot and not $32.00.

If a new solid wire is also needed piano wire can be used. The total
cost would be much cheaper and you would not have to wait until APSCO
decided they felt it was an appropriate time to get around to sending
your order, if they ever decided to do so at all.
