Hi everyone, I have been a little out of touch lately due to the
exciting adventures I have been having since school started back up.
Things are beginning to slow down a little for me, well at least for
awhile, and I thought that maybe I had access to something that might
be of interest to one of you.
I am a volunteer for a local public radio station (KEOS 89.1) in
Bryan, TX. As a public radio station the only way for us to stay
afloat is by the support of our community. We recently had a garage
sale, meaning the community donated stuff to the station for us to sale
and make a profit.
Well, two of the "big" items that were donated never actually got
sold to anyone and now they are just taking up space at our station.
One is a Baldwin upright piano and the other is a Whitney Chicago
upright piano. I don't know a whole lot about the quality of pianos
or anything, but I do know that physically the Baldwin is in excellent
condition.
The Whitney, however, is not in the best physical condition and
you have to press firmly on the keys for it to produce a sound.
If anyone would like any further information you can e-mail me at
<sel2158@labs.tamu.edu>. If I understand things correctly, I believe
the most that the station would sell either for is $400, but don't
quote me on that. :)
Thanks,
Stephanie LaBelle
