Replacing Spring In Spring Motor
By Lamar Boulet

Thanks for the help in the past in removing and lubricating springs.
I do not remember who it was who gave the courage to try one, but it
worked out great -- so far.

I have the springs out, cleaned and ready to restore them to the
housing. Now what method is suggested in getting them back in the
housing?

This first bunch are made up of two springs, facing opposite directions.
Help!!!

After these are fixed, I want to get into two disc music boxes and do
those springs.

By the way, I checked with a local clock man about the type grease
to use on springs. He said he has found STP oil additive to work fine.
Has anyone tried it? If so, how was the results?
