Hello fellow MMD'ers;  I would like to ask for your help and advice
regarding the Web page we are building for our business.

We made a recognition to the Musical Museum of Deansboro for their
efforts and contributions to this hobby so many of us enjoy.   It
dawned on me that there are so many that should also be recognized that
we went a step further and created the "Automatic Music Hall Of Fame".

The snowball has been gaining quite a bit of momentum.  Writing back
and forth with Beatrice Robertson, she informed me that the Music Box
Society is doing a project similar, but pointed out that ours would not
be under the constraints of MBS politics or regulations.

When I started compiling a list of names that warrant being mentioned,
the amount was quite impressive as were the names themselves.

But I need your help;  I don't know that "my" home page is the best
place to host this project.  I certainly don't mind doing it, but I
don't want it to appear that it is just a lure to help our business.
I would just like to see it accomplished!  Would also ask that you
submit suitable "entries" with a short bio and possibly a photo.

After searching the Web and looking at many different sights, the best
place I thought to have it hosted would be through the MMD!  What do
you think?

 [ I think such a "section" on the MMD Website would be a great idea.
 [ I'm hoping that you might consider acting as an "assistant webmaster"
 [ and actually take the responsibility for managing the pages on
 [ that section.  Robbie and I have worked out a method by which
 [ we can have several "assistant webmasters" each working on a
 [ separate section of the Website.  I anticipate using a separate
 [ "unmoderated" mailing list for keeping the various assistant
 [ webmasters in touch with each other so that they can provide
 [ each other moral and technical support.  I would set up
 [ accounts and do whatever I can to assist.  I would expect that
 [ that each section's editor/webmaster would provide a "plug"
 [ for themselves with a biography page and/or a  link to their own
 [ personal or commercial Website.

 [ Dave, please let me know if you'd like to try this out.  I'd also
 [ like to encourage others who would like to exercise their skills
 [ or learn a new skill) to let Robbie and me know that they are
 [ interested trying their hand at managing a section of the MMD
