Hello fellow MMDers,
Since the first time I listened to a Seeburg KT play I've wanted a
keyboardless nickelodeon. Well, I'm about to spend all of my Christmas
savings (and then some) on a Coinola Cupid I recently found. This
machine is in poor condition having spent the most recent third of its
life in a damp barn, its all there, but the wood has come unglued, all
the metal is rusted and any thing that can be eaten by bugs has been
eaten by bugs. It will take a large amount of cabinet and veneer work
and EVERYTHING down to the action and soundboard will have to be
completely taken apart and rebuilt. I know that all this would be done
anyway and I'm willing to do it especially if this was some great
bargain but it's not. The owner is asking what I think is a lot of
money for this machine and before I buy, I thought I would ask the MMD,
Does anyone out there have a cabinet piano in medium to good unrestored
condition for sale?
