I recently had an excellent experience with Kim Bunker of Orange Coast
Piano.  In these days when we seem to be critical of everything and
everyone, I thought it might be nice to report on a good happening for
a change :-)

I purchased a Steinway Duo-Art from Kim and he arranged the shipping
from CA to RI.  While he was waiting for it to be picked up, he noted
that there were some scratches on the top so he refinished the top at
no charge.  (This was after I bought the Steinway)  He also gave the
pneumatics a once-over and polished the case.

The Van Line hauled the Steinway to the East Coast but then dropped it
off at its Providence depot rather than bringing it to my house!!  The
shipper called and demanded an extra $600 for local delivery!!  I
called Kim and he immediately stepped in and straightened things out
with the moving company.  The Steinway is now happily in our home and
is working just fine.  It's always a concern when you buy something
long distance but the Steinway is just the way Kim represented it.

So, thanks Kim for a nice experience.
