Karl Diesner Street Organ
By Werner Grunbaum

I recently restored a 40 note street organ with 9 trumpet pipes. I
would like to find out the tuning scale for the organ, especially for
the trumpet pipes. Even some educated guesses would help.

Also, is there any information available for Karl Diesner, "Orgelbauer
in Erlitz bei Grulich? Erlitz was a village in Oestreich, County of
Koeiggraettz, about 1.8 miles (German miles) SSE of Senftenberg. I feel
certain that it was built before 1850 (the battle of Koeniggraetz was
fought in 1866) and the wood (walnut), hardware, etc. looks more as if
it might be from around 1820s.

Thanks for your help.
