Steinway Cheek Block Removal
By Philip Jamison

I'm refinishing a 1907 Steinway upright Pianola and cannot see how the
cheek blocks are held in. There is no visible screw from underneath,
side, or rear. They do seem attached to the keyframe. Must the entire
frame be removed? I noticed the same construction on a 1917 Steinway Duo
Art.
