Wayne Stahnke on National Public Radio
By Bill Jelen

On Monday, October 5th, 1998 at 6:50 PM EDT, the National Public Radio
program "All Things Considered" interviewed MMD member Wayne Stahnke on his
project to realize recordings of Rachmaninoff based on the Ampico piano
rolls.

The CD, "A Window in Time" is available on Telarc Discs. You can see a
summary of the story at:

    http://www.npr.org/programs/atc/archives/1998/981005.atc.html

and, if you have a real audio player, you can listen to it at

Wayne did a great job of explaining the process in non-technical terms.
I thought it was a great feature. Congratulations, Wayne!
