Thanks for info on Kreiter!
By Brett Mohr

I would like to thank every one who responded on my request for help
with info on Kreiter Piano's. It made me realize that I had no idea
what to ask some one who has little or no knowledge of player pianos
when trying to find out what kind of player they might have. Simple
things like the tracker bar on a Simplex and the "S" on the pedals of
a Standard to more distinct parts as the spring wind mechanism on the
Melville Clark can help to narrow it down in a hurry. I think I will
order Durrell's book on Player Action Identification that Howard Wyman
told me about. If anyone else has any good ways to distinguish between
different actions I would love to hear them, thanks again!
