Beta Testers Needed for Music Box Simulator
By Jack Perron
I need several people willing to beta test a computer program that
should be of interest to MMD members, especially those with an interest
in music boxes.
The computer program recreates/simulates the experience of
owning/operating/listening to a 15 1/2" Regina disc musical box.
Testers should be willing to spend a minimum of 20 hours over a one
month period testing this program, and must have computer equipment
as follows:
Minimum Requirements:
1) IBM or compatible with Intel Pentium 90 or faster (may run on
slower CPU's) 16 MB RAM
2) Windows 95 or higher with MediaPlayer installed, capable of
playing WAV files
3) Soundcard capable of playing wave files
4) 100 MB free hard disk space
5) CD-ROM drive (read CD-R)
6) Mouse
7) VGA or higher video support
Recommended:
8) 500 MB or more free hard disk space (Individual tunes can take
up large amounts of disk space ... 30 MB or more)
9) 32 MB RAM
10) Display capable of 24-bit 'True Color' (16 million colors)
Prospective testers are requested to email me indicating their interest,
and specifying their basic computer configuration.
Thanks,
Jack Perron
