O-roll Orchestrion Project
By Peter Coggins

Hi all, I'm just writing to say a big thanks to all the people
who have given me info and ideas for my 'O' roll orchestrion project.
Especially to Craig Brougher and his book and his willingness to
answer all of my emails, and to Hal Davis too!

Its now going, currently having the same instruments as a Coinola X,
although it will be getting a Tambourine very soon and who knows,
maybe one day I might get really keen and extend upwards to add pipes
and crash cymbal. (Probably should read 'one year'!) I still have to
finish the front doors and , of course, spend hours fiddling to get it
just right.

Just the thing we hobbyists like! Actually the instrument balance is
quite good now and it sounds very nice even with our limited O-roll
collection (all have been around many many times!). At least everything
is adjustable by regulators. I have a web page with picture of it at

    http://www.healey.com.au/~petergc

then click on the link to the crown page.

Thanks

Peter Coggins
