The Player Piano Ring
By John A. Tuttle

Hello Fellow MMD'ers - Looking for a better way to link to other player
piano related web sites? Here it is! As of 9/10/98, 'The Player Piano
Ring' was established for any web site that deals with paper roll
activated, foot-pump or electrically powered player pianos.

Joining the "Player Piano Ring' is a relatively easy process that
includes registering and placing an html code (and one small graphic)
into one of your web pages.

The purpose of the 'Ring' is quite straight-forward: it links related
web sites. The beauty of using this type of link as opposed to the
conventional text or banner link is that it allows the web site owner
to make any sort of change in the link without notifying all of the
people who are in the ring. This system eliminates Dead Links and also
provides the web surfer with an index of all the 'ring' sites at the
click of the mouse.

The only down side that I've found so far is that there have to be at
least 5 sites in the ring before WebRing (www.webring.com) will list
the ring in their Main Index Page and activate all the rings features.

To become a member of 'The Player Piano Ring', point your browser to:
http://www.player-care.com/the_ring.html and follow the 'Join the Ring'
link. ALL sites, commercial and personal are welcome to join.

If you have any questions, please contact me at <john-ring@player-care.com>

Join the Ring,

John A. Tuttle (john@player-care.com)

[ Jody visited the other sites and says the Ring seems interesting.
[ He will pursue it this weekend. -- Robbie
