In response to Ron Kerns posting in the 9-7-98 digest regarding
the massive orchestrion located at the Isle of Capri casino in
Lake Charles, Louisiana: It was built by Ragtime Automated Music
(RAM) in Ceres, California.

It is pictured in a sales brochure I received from them last week.
It claims to have 2 pianos, 4 Jamaican steel drums, 2 accordions,
Glockenspiel, 2 ranks of pipes, and 45 rhythm instruments!  They
probably just recently received it and its MIDI-controlled.  It will
be interesting to see if it's still holding up after a few years of
continuous play!
