Song Title "How Could You Believe Me..."
By Dean Randall

The title is" "How Could You Believe Me When I said I Loved You (When
You Know I've Been A Liar All My Life)". It was featured in the Fred
Astaire/Jane Powell film, "Royal Wedding", 1951, MGM. The song was
written by Burton Lane/Alan Jay Lerner and is about as dismal and
juvenile as the movie. Supposedly this is the longest published song
title. I would expect that QRS made a roll of it, but can't confirm
that.

Someplace around here I have a very worn 78-rpm MGM record of it, but
it isn't for sale.
