[ Found by Terry Smythe on the rec.music.ragtime newsgroup:
A new "rag time" periodical is now available; 112 pages, 5.75" x
7.75", and squarebound, it is replete with photographs, music and
thrilling information related to research of the "rag time" era.
Though not necessarily graced with the finest of printing, the
uniqueness of the item is certainly incontrovertible.
The public is invited to sample pages, brief excerpts of articles,
and various other items of possible interest shamelessly promoted by
our electronic facility, addressed at
http://www.wwa.com/~weese/
or to send queries to weese@wwa.com, all of which will be
entertained. Topics include: a recently discovered fragment of a
Scott Joplin song, Joseph Lamb's minstrel shows, Ernest Hogan/Irving
Jones and "La Pas Ma La", and more.
Loosely organized, vaguely designed, and conveniently-sized, "The Rag
Time Ephemeralist" is "just the thing" for the collector or
enthusiast with unusual and esoteric music interests.
Regards,
Mr. C. Ware,
editor and publisher.
