Seek New Pads for Flute
By Dave Vincent

A good place to start looking might be The Woodwind and the Brasswind,
in South Bend, Indiana

    http://www.wwandbw.com/

The latest woodwind catalog I have from them (1996) has flute pad sets
at $9.95, and pad cement at $3.00. Prices can't have gone up too much
in two years. You can request a catalog from their website.

One can't be a "dang fool" to try it at today's prices. Besides, when I
was in the school band, ten-year-old girls used to occasionally put new
pads on their flutes and clarinets, with only the aid of a match, a
cigarette lighter or alcohol lamp that they'd borrow from the band
director.

Dave Vincent.
