Available Plans for Organette and Barrel Organ
By John Kleinbauer

Hi All, I saw in this mornings MMD a request for a barrel organ and
plans for an organette. While corresponding to people who bought my
book on how to build a barrel organ, I have found out what is out
there.

There are two sets of plans for building a street organ. Both require
the builder to purchase ready-made parts. One requires expensive pipes,
the other a paper feed assembly. There was a guy in England who was
promising to write up how he built a monkey organ. From what I hear he
collected the money but the plans never came.

I myself have a small organette that I built that reads a book of
cardboard cards. I am torn at this point whether to produce set of
organette plans or to start a barrel organ with pipes.

Now the good news! I am once again offering my book, "Building a Barrel
Organ", an adventure in plastic. I will donate five dollars of each
sale to the MMD.
