With all the re-run programs about the Titanic recently on TV, it
brought to mind this question.
I vaguely remember reading somewhere in the last year or so, that Welte
had been commissioned to built a Cottage Orchestrion if some sort for
the RMS Titanic. Since the organ was not completed in time, and
therefore did not sink on the ship, if it did truly exist where did it
end up and is it still around?
If someone could locate this instrument, could you imagine the hype
which could be associated with it.
