Hi, I have some old recordings of radio news programs from the 2nd world
war and I think I ought to get them on tape sooner or later. Them have
some powder on them (I assume to keep them dry). It is sort of stuck to
some of them. I have a record cleaning brush I got back in '81 when I
bought a turntable. Can I use it? What would you recommend to prep them
to be played? There are over 200 recordings spanning '43, '44, '45, the
death of Roosevelt, and the end of the war in europe. They are all from
station WKY, where ever that is.
Any assistance you could give would be very much appreciated.
