Hi all, Looking quickly through my roll collection I found the
following Paull and Lincoln marches.
Another few I can remember by Lincoln are 'Fire Drill March' (1909 -
different from Midnight Fire Alarm), and one of his most successful,
'Repasz Band' - March and Two Step, also known as 'The Irish Guards
March'. This was published under the alias Charles C. Sweely, but
became so popular he published a 'sequel' (I forget the name) with a
short note in which he admitted he was the composer.
Marches by Harry J. Lincoln on music rolls:
Otto Higel 015793 - Heaven's Artillery - March
International 1993 - United Musicians - Military March
QRS 31441 - Midnight Fire Alarm - Descriptive March-Galop
(Arr. by E.T. Paull, cr. 1900)
QRS 1828 - Mounted Police - March
(Played by Scott and Watters, cr. 1921)
QRS 3037 - LuLu Band - 'Bluebird' March
(As C.C. Sweely, Played by Scott and Watters)
Marches by E. T. Paull on music rolls:
International 1284 - Lincoln Centennial - March
(No date but I'd guess 1909)
QRS D130 - Paul Revere's Ride - Descriptive March
(cr. 1915, Played by Scott and Watters)
QRS D131 - Battle Of Gettysburg - Descriptive March
(cr. 1917, Played by Osborne and Howe)
Otto Higel 08714 - Burning of Rome - March and Two Step
Reliance 35014 - The Homecoming - March
(Played by FA and RA Sharp <??> )
Reliance 35029 - Charge of the Light Brigade - March
(Played by FA and RA Sharp <??> )
Reliance 35031 - Sheridan's Ride - March
(Played by FA and RA Sharp <??> )
Hope this helps in some way.
Regards,
Robert Perry
