I'd like to suggest that the evening of the preview of the mechanical
musical instrument auction in Deansboro (the weekend of Sept. 18-19-20)
that perhaps a group of our MMD people might like to meet, eat and
chat for a while.  There is not much entertainment out there in the
backwoods, and it would be great for everyone to meet everyone else on
the board here.

Anyone interested, I will arrange for a very convenient spot either
before the preview day, the eve of the preview day, or at the end of
the auction.  It would be nice for us to post our comments here on MMD
too.  Think about a dinner, some short side trips, and leave a note
here to all, or send me a quickie note to Bill at the Backroom Piano,
<berkshires@earthlink.net>.

P.S.  The reason for the word "Berkshires", to our West Coast friends,
is that is the name of the mountain range between the Catskill and
Adirondack ranges and the White and Green Mountain ranges, where all
those wonderful Bosendorfers, Bechsteins, double Mills, etc., are
hidden.
