Replacement Parts for Reproducing Pianos
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, In my continuing effort to promote every aspect of the
pneumatic player piano trade, I have recently finished putting up
another web page at Player-Care.

This page is devoted to Bob Streicher. As some of you already
know, Bob makes parts for reproducing player pianos in his shop in Pond
Eddy, NY. On the page, you will find an explanation (written by Craig
Brougher) of some of the excellent replacement parts that Bob makes and
his contact information. Bob is not, and has no plans to be, on-line,
but you can call him at 1-717-559-7403 to place an order.

For those of you who don't know, Bob has been working on reproducing
pianos since at least 1962. Now age 63, he continues to provide
quality hand-crafted parts at very reasonable prices. He also supplies
other businesses with parts, so you might have held one of his parts in
your hand and never even knew. Bob will also custom make virtually any
part of a reproducing player mechanism.

Bob Streicher's web page is located at:

    http://www.player-care.com/streiche.html

Also, there are links to Bob's page on the 'Products Page' and the
'Supplies' Page:

    http://www.player-care.com/a_direct.html
    http://www.player-care.com/supplies.html

For those of you with sound cards, there's a surprise MIDI file
embedded in the page. I'll let you come to the site to see who made
the file. As far as I know, it's the very first file he created using
CakeWalk and the first time his work has been put on the Internet.
