Hello to everyone, I just joined MMD and I'm looking forward to
participating in the dialog. It will be a great way for me to keep in
contact with many of you who I already know and to build friendships
with others.
Those of you who don't know me, I have been buying, selling and
restoring mechanical music machines full time for twenty five years
now. About a year and a half ago I stopped dealing in machines.
I now rely on restoration work to pay the bills. Now that I'm not
dealing I have been spending my spare time on renovating my downstairs
in order to make it a proper space to house my collection. I hope to
complete restoration on one of my pieces by the end of this year.
Since I purchased this new computer about six weeks ago, I have been
making replacement labels for my 88-note rolls. Do any of you have
experience matching label colors? Any tips would be helpful.
If you are an old friend feel free to E-mail me.

[ Welcome to MMD, Paul. Please tell us sometime about your collecting
[ and restoration adventures. I recall some discussion in MMD about
[ making replacement box labels; try searching the MMD Archives at
[ http://mmd.foxtail.com/Archies/ and look for the key word "Labels".
[ Glad you've joined us. -- Robbie
