Political Correctness
By Andy Taylor

The term 'politically correct' refers to nothing more that an ominous
pop culture. This type of thinking subscribes to a way of being _told
how to think_ by the very people who have no intention of doing it
themselves.

Since I am not into political correctness (because I am not sheepish),
this term has absolutely no relevance in my life. I am an American,
and in the event that I do mistreat a certain person because of race,
I will have to answer to a much higher power than other people or the
state.

Generally, those who are concerned about what is 'politically correct'
can easily be viewed as weak individuals. And the whole phenomena has
a striking resemblance to Nazi Germany, where people were told how to
act and think or be under the threat of being killed.

Until something is signed by the President into law, I don't regard it.
I have my doubts that such an infraction against the Fourth Amendment
would ever reach that point.

The term 'politically correct' seems to come from the same people who
are against the nuclear family, and morals. No thank you. I have the
ability to think for myself.

As long as the people I deal with in life have no problem with the
terms I use, that is enough. If there is a problem between two adults,
they can solve it without having 'big brother' solve it for them.

Political correctness showed it's devastating effects in the O. J.
Simpson trial. Mark Ferman supposedly used the "N" word. The reaction
was unbelievable. They (the jury and others) acted like using the "N"
word (which was, of course, insulting) was _worse_ than killing two
innocent people.

If lyrics on the old rolls seems insulting today perhaps it is because
of intolerance. The government and others still foster hate between
races by the very fact of raising awareness to it. Wounds will never
heal until left alone and not picked at. Besides all this, people were
of a completely different mind set. What is wrong today is that morals
and manners are often scoffed and made fun of. And everybody is on
edge with each other. I see no 'color' when I play rolls (outside of
tonal color).
