Bob Maes' Theater Organ Warehouse Fire
By Colin Hinz

I'm truly and sincerely saddened to hear of this. This is indeed a
tragedy, not only because of the Maes' personal losses, but also their
loss of livelihood and the loss of their archive and collection. I can
barely fathom how to cope under these terrible, terrible circumstances.

I met Bob only briefly, when he was up in Toronto a year and a half
back to bid on (and ultimately purchase) the big theatre organ that was
in the Organ Grinder restaurant. Perhaps that organ had safely found
a new home, perhaps not. Either way, I wish Bob and his family all the
best.
