Inanimate Leslie Speaker
By Don Elbers

This may not be totally applicable to this discussion group; however,
Leslies are in most cases mechanical and they can make music.

I found an unusual Leslie cabinet at a flea market. It is only about
12 inches tall, has two non-moving speakers and solid state
electronics. It is labeled as Leslie model 540, Electro Music by CBS.

All of my listings are devoid of this model. If anyone is aware of the
specs on this unit please reply.

Don Elbers

[ The Leslie name is now owned by one of the familiar Japanese
[ music companies, possibly Sony. -- Robbie
