Seek Unified Reproduco Organ & Wurl APP Rolls
By Rick Cooley

Hi gang, It seems I am always taking and never giving but here I am
again. I just purchased a Unified Reproduco Organ that I found on
Joyce Brite's free ad service, at a very fair price. Before I go
further, I want to thank Joyce for this wonderful service for members
of the MMD and others. When the time comes to vote for the 1998 MMD
Service Award, he will certainly get my vote.

Only one Unified roll came with the organ and, obviously, I need many,
many more. These rolls are about 15 inches long and have 132-134
tracker bar positions. The box is clearly marked as "Unified" on the
end and are much larger than the standard Reproduco rolls. The tunes
are the type you would have heard in a turn-of-the-century funeral
parlor. Any for sale by anyone? It really would help to enlarge the
"collection" (one).

Previously, I mentioned that my standard Reproduco was sold to Japan
and I had some NOS and OS rolls to sell. I finally found a home for
the 14 ten tune rolls, all brand new and some never played. I was
kind of saving them to swap for Unified rolls but that never happened.

My Wurlitzer Style "O" Photoplayer will be delivered soon and I only
have a few, usable APP rolls. I am looking for more rolls, be it one,
five or 50. The going price of $80 to $100 for new ones is too steep
for my wallet.

I have a library of "A," "O," "G" rolls and extra disks for just about
every disk music box ever made -- Want to swap for UNIFIED or APP
rolls? Just let me know what you have and I hope we can get together.
Please send any e- mail responses to <cotps@aol.com>.

Thanks,

Rick Cooley

PS: I hope the MBSI folks enjoyed the write-up and picture of the
Blessing Robot Band on the cover of the Spring Issue of the MBSI
Mechanical Music Journal. Drop by and hear it perform sometime.
