Tweeting Bird Automaton
By Brian Chesters

Hello MMDers. Does anyone know of a similar item, or a possible
date/place of manufacture of the following item in my collection?

Black wooden base housing a two-tune musical movement and a tweeting
bird sound made by a pair of small bellows. I shy away from saying
"Singing Bird" as there is no tune to it, just a twitter. Above the
base is a tree in which there is a little bird that jumps from branch
to branch and flaps its wings wildly. There is also a glass rod that
simulates a fountain. The whole lot is under a glass dome.

My guess is French and 1910, but any help would be appreciated.
