Wurlitzur Bubbler Tube Ingredients
By Mark Forer

Dear Jody:

As I have an original Wurlitzur 1015 bubbler, occasionally it gives me
trouble. When it does, I call on the best guy in the So. Cal. area for
service: Brad Frank. It so happens that the time I called him out to
fix my coin slot mechanism, I asked him if he could replace one of my
bubble tubes that wasn't bubbling anymore. During the course of the
conversation, I asked him just what was in those tubes. The answer
was plain old embalming fluid, CH2O...formaldehyde! (Something with a
very low boiling point. These bubble rods are in very short supply, but
if any one wants one for a Wurlitzur 1015, give Brad a call. Since I
don't own any other jukeboxes, I can't vouch for the availability of
other bubble rods for other Wurlitzurs, or other manufacturers. He's at:

    Chatsworth, CA 91311,

    voice: 818-709-2157
    fax: 818-709-2148.

By the way, my Seeburg pianos never give me as much trouble as that
1015 does, even tho' the technology is 20 years more "advanced" on the
juke! Anybody else experience this technology "gap"?
