Hello MMD, This is Ricky Diggs with Custom Woodworking.
Once again I'm writing this request -- I'm trying to locate somebody in
the MMD or the MBSI group that has an original Polyphon 15-1/2" Style
#65 or #65A (Bowers' Encyclopedia, page 152), and/or a Polyphon 22-1/2"
Style #3 (Bowers page 156).
I need some photos of the gallery and case moldings (of both machines).
I'm trying to replicate these parts for a client. His name is Dan
Brown, out of Spokane, Washington. We have been unable to track down
anybody with original machines to photograph.
To my disbelief, in 3 months I haven't received any confirmations
regarding my requests. I'm sure there must be several machines out
there. MMD, thank you very much for allowing me to voice my request
once again. I'll be more than glad to send the person film and postage
in return for a dozen good photos.
Dan Brown and I thank you, for your time and help.
On a different note, thank you, Larry Greenfield, for the kind words
you wrote about the Junod interchangeable cylinder box that we just
restored for you (MMD 980614). Also for allowing me to display my work
and be part of your MBSI showing at the end of this month.
Sincerely, Ricky Diggs
