Hi Gang, It has been a while. Now I seem to have a problem that Andy
and I don't seem to be able to solve.
We just purchased a second computer and would like to find a way to
interface them through one phone line. We finally got them to network
via direct cable connection. This way we can share files and printer,
but now we would like to see if there is a way so that, if one computer
is already on-line, the other computer can go on line without the
dial-up process.
We have two phone lines and two computers, but right now we have to run
each computer per phone line. That is making it hard to get incoming
phone calls. Anyone have any ideas? We sure could use the help!
Best Regards
Chris Taylor
[ Whew! I wish Jody were here to help with your question, Chris.
[ (He's at a Unix convention this week.) If one computer were set up
[ as a network server, the second computer could connect through it.
[ But I sure don't know any more than that! :) -- Robbie
