Hi, My name is Dave Brown, I live in Fowlerville MI.  I work for G.M.
Powertrain, a Senior Tech in Experimental Engineering.  (Sounds good,
translation: glorified automatic transmission mechanic.)  We build the
ones that the public will see in the years to come.

My interests lies in many areas;  have collected wind-up phonographs,
player pianos (Standard action upright, and Recordo baby grand).  The
upright has had all the pneumatics rebuilt, plays quite well, Recordo
under construction!  Also paperweights, antique or new.

My interest in your group came from Pete Woodworth, he suggested
this group as a possible source of help in constructing a band organ.
Already through Jody's help I have talked to Bob Stanoszek, and we'll
be ordering his book on building a band organ.  (Thanks, Jody.)
I would like to get input from those of you that have built similar
projects.  Also I would like to install a MIDI system, looking for help
in that design.

It will be a while before I start this project, as I have promised my
wife that I would finish some others, plus the Grand is hers so it
will come first!  I would like to have a lot of good ideas before
starting.  Looking forward to the expertise of others for help, thanks
in advance!
