Noise Reduction - DcArt
By Steve McCollum

OK, what's a DcArt? Some PC-based noise reduction technology? I have
a pile of 78s which I would like to resuscitate, including some Caruso.
I would suspect that the state-of-the-art has progressed since the
analog LP noise reduction circuitry of the '70s.

[ Let's have a round or two of discussion, since there are several
[ old record enthusiasts here (I mean, old records ! ;) and lots of
[ folks like me who would enjoy the cleaner sounds. Then the thread
[ can perhaps be moved to an audiophile web site. Anyone know of
[ a good site for discussions like this? -- Robbie
