> Can anyone recommend a piano/MM instrument mover that can move

We recently acquired a Knabe Ampico, an offer we found in the MMD!
We had to find someone to move it from Virginia to San Diego. We
searched all over for a good mover and finally found one that was
reliable and good. His name is Jeffrey Bodway and he's with Sterling
Van Lines, out of North Hollywood, CA, tel: 800-264-6313.
The thing that really impressed me was the way they handled that grand
piano -- wonderful! They were extremely helpful to us, as we needed to
move another grand out of our living room into a storage area in our
shop and they did it at no cost. They charged us $990 for the cross-
country move, and the piano never left the truck it was first put on.
(If you'd like the names of the other movers we contacted let us know!)
