I have received this Email asking for advice on pricing some older
Aeolian et. al. rolls. I've checked the MMD archives, and haven't seen
any obvious discussion in this regard.
If anyone can give some tangible advice to this person, perhaps one of
the roll dealers amongst us, please post your response to the MMD list
and directly to Gloria (gbales@vc.cc.tx.us), who is not a list member.
Gloria: Please check out mmd.foxtail.com to browse our list's archive
of past articles that may give you other information.

A friend asked me to try the Internet to see how to get word out about
his antique player piano scrolls. He has 25 to 30 scrolls in good
condition from the original owner. They are from the late 1800's and
early 1900's. The one he gave me details from has a copyright listed
by Aeolian Co. 1906. It was a Beethoven scroll and had Sonata
Passionate and Allegro Assai on the label. Handwritten notes were made
on the scroll by Carl Reinecke (in German)
My friend is interested in selling or having his scrolls appraised.
Do you have any advice for him?
