Hi All, An old friend of my (he's in his late 30's) from mid-Florida
wants to sell his profitable piano business and relocate back to his
hometown area in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, PA). Besides his customer
database, which contains over 1000 names, there is a large trailer,
refinishing equipment and various other large items associated with
piano rebuilding.
My question is, how is a value placed on the customer database?
He says he would be willing to show any interested party the copies
of his bank statements which prove the profitability of the business.
Personally, I haven't a clue as to how such an intangible would be
valued, so I need some help here.
Musically,
