Sounds of Pneumatic vs. Solenoid Pianos
By Bruce Clark

I found it interesting to hear Andy & Chris Taylor's comment:

> ... the Pianomation unit is very quick to turn the note 'on' but it's
> a little slow turning the note 'off'. It doesn't 'bop' the keys, it
> is a solid response. For example a 'tah-dah' might end up sounding

If a musician played "tahh" instead of a "tah-dah", good musicians
would not find it at all acceptable.

The majority of those who profess to enjoy music haven't a clue if the
notes are played properly or not! A kazoo soloist probably would have
more appeal to them than a fine concert on a Steinway grand! Sad but
true!

Our nation needs better music education in our schools. If this does
not occur soon, our young people will have no interest in our musical
heritage.
