Classical Music Parodies
By Paul Johnson

Bob Loesch asked about classical music parodies. There were certainly
a number of them. A few more that come to mind are Desecration Rag by
Felix Arndt which is a take-off on a number of popular classical themes,
and Humorestless by Zez Confrey, being another parody of Humoresque.
We currently stock Humorestless in our current catalog cut from the
Ampico original and played by Confrey.

[ Others: Hungarian Rag, a parody on the Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody,
[ and Russian Rag, upon the Rachmaninoff Prelude in C-sharp minor.
