MIDI-Controlled Tracker Bar
By Matthew Caulfield

I forgot to ask yesterday who on this list has had any experience
with the MIDI-controlled tracker bar that Tom Grace told me has been
engineered for (I think) the Ampico. Is that enough information to
know what I am talking about? Tom tells me that the principle can be
adapted to control any other tracker-bar-equipped instrument.

Matthew Caulfield

[ Tom is speaking of the new device under development by MMDers Larry
[ Broadmoore and Laurent Coray. The first production model can be
[ used with any 9-chan/inch tracker bar, including Ampico; a variant
[ for Welte T-100 rolls will be next. For more information write to
 [ Larry Broadmoore <larrybr@loop.com>. -- Robbie
